Team Sharkbait

As the sun was beaming down the whole day, the clear sky and good weather took us to another Panheel training. But this time a bit different then other training dives. As the season is changing, the time darkness falls is earlier with the day. As dusk was falling, we took a dive in Panheel.

Although the sun was set…I was pretty amazed to see what a good visibility still remained underneath the water surface. But as the real darkness had fallen the flashlights did their job.

As freediving in water doesn’t change…the darkness does add a total different feel to the dive. A great experience and a good training on the mental part aswell.

At the end of the dive, scuba divers entered the water, with some bigger flashlights, then we had… I never thought that flashlights could still reach such a distance. Whilst swimming back, we took a few dives along side the scubadivers. Although I doubt if they were aware of our presence.
