As I haven’t posted here for a while, doesn’t mean we left the scene in blogging, I’m still alive and kicking. At the moment I’m putting my focus on the step back I’ve announced a while back.
What are you doing at the moment?
Currently I’m focusing my energy in getting into shape again with a power schedule for fitness. My core fitness level has seen a decline as I wasn’t doing fitness and had my focus on training. I’m going back to the basics where my core is the main focus in getting back into shape.

Cardio vascular also included?
Getting back into shape always comes in 2, so there has to be cardio for my training as well. Endurance is a key factor for me in being fit, together with the power of fitness at the core. At the moment we strive for a once a week cardio session, which consists of a 1000 m crawl in the Tongelreep pool in Eindhoven.
How about that fun?
For me the way I experience fun is by training hard and intense. I get a energy boost from a good training and I get motivated when I didn’t train as I wanted to train, this is where I can say that:
Training = Fun
Of course we have other fun stuff we like to do and that’s why we combine the training with some depth training in the -5m tongelreep pool. Exercises at depth, bubble rings, etc. brings the rest of the fun factor back into my life.
